Welcome to Mats Nilson Photography & Accessories !
As a photographer, I work most of the time in Northern Scandinavia from my home in Sorsele, Sweden, but I am sometimes fortunate enough to be able to visit other parts of the world as well.
I deal mostly with nature- and wildlife photography, but I do occasional assignments with other subjects, such as aerial photography and weddings. My favourite subjects range all the way from landscapes down to close-ups. I also take stock photographs of cultural heritages and rural subjects. Read more about my photography under "Photography". I can assure everybody that no e-mails are ever sent from me or matsnilson.com unless in respons to an inquiry or to establish real contact with real people. If you have been the target of such spam, I'm really very very sorry.
Not very surprisingly, considering how it's been run, the image bank where I've had my images, eyeQnet, has gone bankrupt. Luckily, that has been a minor part of my business anyway. However, this means I have a fresh opportunity to do something about my stock image sales. Maybe a website remake? Stay tuned! In the meantime, please disregard any links or references to eyeQnet. It takes a while to remake an entire website..
Something of much greater importance has happened. I've gone digital! I have too! I've hesitated as long as I've been able to squeeze better quality out of my scanned slides, but with the Nikon D2Xs, I dare say I've run out of arguments! :-)
